Jill Dempsey, Partner
Jill Dempsey is a seasoned investor and operator with over 20 years of executive experience across private equity, finance, and global operations. She has served as CEO, CFO, and COO in growth-stage ventures and mature enterprises across North America, Europe, Mexico, and the Middle East, leading teams and transformations across diverse industries.
Jill was a partner at Dolphin Capital, a boutique equity fund with over $100 million in assets under management, where she led investment sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management, and assumed operational roles across portfolio companies. Her M&A and restructuring experience includes managing more than $500 million in assets – ranging from distressed-stage recoveries to strategic exits. Her operating leadership spans sectors including consumer products, real estate, finance, education, and hospitality.
In addition to her work at Cedar Equity, Jill currently serves as Executive Director of US Friends of AMAR, a nonprofit supporting displaced and conflict-affected communities, and teaches as an Adjunct Professor of Nonprofit Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus.

Tasha Bishop, Partner
Tasha Bishop is an accomplished executive with over two decades of leadership in the global technology and SaaS sector. She has led revenue operations, customer experience, and go-to-market strategy for both high-growth startups and publicly traded enterprises, managing portfolios ranging from $50M to over $1B in annual recurring revenue.
Tasha’s career spans every stage of growth—from early-stage innovation to large-scale enterprise transformation. She has built and led cross-functional teams across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas, overseeing customer ecosystems that serve more than one million end users and 100,000+ global clients. Her operational scope includes scaling remote and in-person teams, launching international markets, and delivering on multi-year hypergrowth trajectories.
With deep expertise in customer lifecycle strategy, community-building, and SaaS infrastructure, Tasha has consistently delivered results through scalable, inclusive, and resilient systems. Her leadership is grounded in both analytical rigor and human-centered design, creating sustainable business growth aligned with long-term impact.
In addition to her role at Cedar Equity, Tasha serves on the board of Beehyve, a platform supporting neurodivergent adults, and Liberty RFC, a nonprofit expanding access to athletics for underserved youth.

Our Origin Story
We first met on the rugby field—Jill as a high school and collegiate athlete, Tasha as a professional level athlete and a coach of their nationally ranked, trailblazing girls rugby team. Together, we helped pioneer a space where few opportunities existed for young women, laying the groundwork for what would become a lifelong commitment to resilience, access, and leadership.
Years later, after parallel careers in private equity, venture operations, and global technology, we reunited to build Cedar Equity: a family office grounded in strength, strategic execution, and long-term stewardship.
